Overview

The time is right to join HNTB Corporation!  HNTB is currently seeking a UDP Intern - Transportation Planning in our Oklahoma City, OK office. 

 

HNTB does NOT pay for housing or relocation for this position.

Job Summary

Under close supervision, assists departments by performing basic assignments. Position is usually on a part-time, temporary, or co-op basis.

Essential Responsibility

  • Assists project team members with various support tasks.
  • Conducts basic research and data collection.
  • Compiles data, prepares basic plans, studies, etc.
  • Assists in the development of presentation materials and reports.
  • Organizes project background information for use in reports and production of drawings and presentation graphics.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Basic Qualification

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent plus 2 years enrollment in accredited post-secondary Landscape Architecture, Planning, Urban Design curriculum

Preferred Qualification/Skills

- Current enrollment in an accredited program in Planning, Urban Design, or similar program
- Graduation date of December 2018 or later
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Microstation preferred
- Experience with VISSIM, Synchro and/or TransCAD preferred

General Work Conditions

Office Environment: Work is generally performed in an office environment in which there is only minimal exposure to potentially unpleasant working conditions. Incumbent must have the ability to stand and sit frequently, and reach horizontally as well as vertically for overhead use.
